"My cat/dogs have sensitive skin! What can you recommend?"
There are a variety of things that contribute to sensitive skin. Assuming it's a non-environmental factor, research shows that both cats and dogs’ skin have neutral to alkaline pH - which stands in stark contrast to humans, who have a more acidic pH (this is why we shouldn’t use human soaps on our pets!).
In terms of what we recommend - it depends on your pet’s natural pH, as they tend to vary from one another. Soothe is for skin types with a neutral pH, while Clay and Vitamin are for skins with a bias towards an alkaline pH. Though if your pets are prone to fleas or ticks, Clay is your best bet.
At the end, all are very much suited and made for our cat/dog’s skin and are all organic and chemical free!
"What's the best way to store my shampoo bars?"
For your Cube, the best way to store them is by hanging them to dry away from direct sunlight in order to minimize unnecessary wear and tear.
For your Shampoo Flight, it’s best to store them on a draining soap dish or a dry area, free from water or moisture and away from direct sunlight.
"My shampoo bar seems to have small imperfections; is this normal?"
This is absolutely normal! As each bar is entirely hand-crafted and infused with fresh ingredients, each will take on a unique feel and shape. This process ensures that each and every one are curated, fresh, and chemical-free.
"Is Clay suitable for my cat?"
We developed Clay for dogs, as they are more likely to romp and play on dirt, which may attract fleas and insects. They can also be used for cats, however, because it contains Rosemary, please ensure that they do not devour large quantities of this, as it will upset their stomach.
"Any last things we should keep in mind?"
Just the usual stuff! Like any soap, these are for external use only - so do keep them away from your pet's eyes, the insides of their ears, and don't have them ingest it in large quantities! While it's safe to lick some suds here and there, we strongly discourage them from actually consuming it.
